These long chains of sugar carbohydrates occur within the cells that help build bone, cartilage, tendons, corneas, skin and connective tissue.

MUCOPOLYSACCHARIDOSIS are a group metabolic disorders caused by the absence or malfunctioning of lysosomal enzymes that helps in building  bones, cartilage, tendons, corneas, skin 

and connective tissues. The said enzyme started improving within 8 months of therapy  as seen in periodic reports.

We really felt ourselves lucky when we make understand patients that first effect of genetic diseases is on vitamin-D enzyme .Master Darsh patel suffering from Morquio syndrome is also vitamin D deficient ie less than 7.0.
